The news website Midden-Limburg Actueel has become the main and name sponsor of the City Triathlon Weert. As of today the new name ‘MLA City Triathlon Weert’ will be used. This weekend the organisation of the triathlon Total Sports Weert (TSW) and Midden-Limburg Actueel (MLA) have agreed that the City Triathlon Weert on 17 and 18 may will be covered by MLA.

The agreement between TSW and MLA means that races can be followed live, on a large screen at the city bridge, as by the livestream channel on www.middenlimburgactueel.nl. In this way spectators and people who stay-at-home! can follow the complete race.
TSW is happy to announce this agreement because of the extra attention the City Triathlon and Weert will get. This year the MLA City Triathlon is a 3-day event that will take place from 16 to 18 may in the city centre of Weert. A charming track where participants will swim in the Zuid-Willemsvaart, bike alongside the canal and run through the Wilhelminasingel.
This year it is the first time that the youth can qualify for the Youth Olympic Games in China. Furthermore Weert will be the stage for de Dutch National Championship and the Olympic Distance for Elite.
