On November 10, 2014 at the notary Malherbe the foundation City Triathlon Weert was established in front of the new president Wilfried Weekers and secretary Enzo Bronzwaer. From this day the foundation City Triathlon Weert takes over all activities and responsibilities of foundation Total Sports Weert (TSW). The reason for this change of organization is to make the City Triathlon Weert a nationally and internationally known triathlon event.
The goal of the new foundation is:
Promoting versatile endurance sports, by providing opportunities to participate in triathlon races and/or races in one or more sports.
